Margaret Goody | Director GradDipMgmt, FAICD, CAHRI, JP (Qual) Human Resource & Employee Relations Strategist
Margaret’s expertise comes from working with small-to-medium and corporate enterprises across a myriad of industry and service sectors in the private and not-for-profit areas. Key strengths include fluency in the language of business underpinned by on-the-ground experience together with a broad knowledge and understanding of the legislative environment and contemporary practices for human resource management and business sustainability.
Previous roles held by Margaret include managing director, CEO and consultant with responsibilities covering human resource management, business development, stakeholder relations, community-business partnerships and strategic and business planning. Margaret is an alumni of the Australian Graduate School of Management; fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; and member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Certifications include Australian Fair Work lSaville Wave Psychometric Assessment, Australian Council for Educational Research and Gallup’s CliftonStrength Finder.
Morgan Keenan | Senior HR Business Partner / Business Operations Manager
Morgan Keenan is an HR Business Partner and Business Operations Manager at AKYRA, bringing a strong blend of strategic HR expertise, operational insight, and a genuine commitment to partnering with clients.
With a background spanning HR, employee relations and leadership across a wide range of industries, Morgan delivers practical, relationship‑focused support that aligns closely with each client’s goals.
Her workdays are varied—combining onsite visits, complex HR advisory matters and the oversight of AKYRA’s internal operations—something she thrives on. Morgan particularly enjoys building trusted relationships and developing tailored people solutions that make a meaningful impact.
Outside of work, Morgan is a proud parent who enjoys staying active, currently training for the Brisbane HYROX doubles event, and balancing this with a love of dining out with family and friends.

Kerry Smith | HR Business Partner
Kerry brings more than three decades of HR leadership experience across a diverse range of industry sectors, including healthcare, community services, manufacturing, retail, professional services and technology. Her expertise spans both strategic and operational human resources and a strong track record partnering with executives and business leaders to build capable workforces, navigate complex employment matters and drive organisational performance.
Key strengths include end-to-end HR management, employee and industrial relations, Award and employment legislation compliance, organisational development, performance and conduct management, workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, change management and culture transformation. Kerry is recognised for her practical, commercially focused approach and her ability to deliver compliant, people-centred solutions that support business objectives and sustainable growth.
Karilyn Ewings | Office Administration Certificate III Business Administration and Business
With more than 20 years of experience, Karilyn excels in producing high-quality, timely administrative and bookkeeping work. Strong attention to detail and expertise across various industries make her a key contributor to Akyra’s daily operations.
Kimberley Spann | HR Administrator
Kimberley is a versatile professional with experience in HR, customer service and case management. She has a proven track record of managing individual caseloads, working with various databases and providing exceptional administrative support. Kimberley is proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other software.
